This is what I have. I know that GE stuff is hit or miss, but I've been pretty lucky. I've had mine for almost seven years now and while it will occasionally make some weird noises, it's still running well.
The washer and dryer is a no brainer (SQ). I would just search for an analog set vs. anything electronic.

I did just that a couple of years ago.
They're all working great.

Totally agree. We bought an LG fridge and it is garbage.
I rarely buy extended warranties, but I did for this POS. We had 5 service calls in the first two years. It was only after I made a scene at the appliance store that they finally replaced the ice maker rather than attempt another patch job.
Now that the warranty's expired, I am going to junk it at the first opportunity.

sig2392Have a KitchenAid french door fridge about 10 years old no problems
Replaced my 40-year-old whirlpool top-loaders with a stacked set or Whirlpool front loaders.
Just bought a Frigidaire/Electrolux column freezer.
Would not take a Samsung or LG for free except to sell it and buy something else.
We have Electrolux ovens and stove top with no problems and have a Frigidaire refrigerator in a rental with no problems for about 10 years.

MikeinNCWe got a “counter top” sized fridge. Based on the layout of our floor plan a regular fridge wouldn’t have looked right. I’m not happy with it because it’s significantly smaller than our old fridge in our old house, but there’s nothing I can do about it.
And I’d say listen to Appliance Brad’s suggestions. I couldn’t sell Mrs. Mike on the speed queen..but when we have to replace our washer/dryer set..there will be an “I told you so”
My GE dishwasher died a week outside of the warranty. I replaced it with a Maytag. It’s so quiet you can hardly hear it
