Supposed to prevent harmful something or other .

I don't know what to Google.

Some even use them to use while cell phone use.

What is Ken talking about.
Had to do with color separation .
Is this a real thing to prevent harmful exposure of some sort ?

Remember Blu-Blockers from the 80's? So ahead of its time....

The whole issue of blue light from phones affecting sleeping is overblown, though.

Did she get them? And if so, did they help?

Aren't phones adjustable to reduce blue light?

Yes. Modern smartphones have a "night mode" (or similarly titled) setting that reduces blue light output. You can either turn it on/off manually, or set a schedule where it automatically turns on at X time in the evenings and then off at Y time in the morning.

I'm not her, but I got blue light lenses on my regular Oakleys and it's worked wonders and cut down on a lot of my light related headaches at work. They were definitely worth the extra cost.

I used some cheap blue-light blocking readers for work, since I stare at monitors all day.

Reduced eye strain? Yes, they felt better at the end of the day. I didnt really have headaches to start with.

Give everything a sepia tone? Also yes. But, they were cheap glasses from Amazon, better might be out there.

I bought some Computer glasses that have a blue tint and are +.5x on Amazon.
They work great for the computer screen and for shooting. The +.5 slight magnification brings my front sight into focus without putting the rear sight and target completely out of focus.
