I have had this Panasonic for a few weeks.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/prod...06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I love it. Super fast and quiet. Clean up is rinsing it under water. 13,000 cuts per minute

My legs bother me when standing for long periods. I do some of my stuff in the bathroom while sitting on the toilet seat. You could get a little stool to hold a bowl of hot water in front of you, and one of these mirrors to shave while sitting down. Or do without the stool and water and just use an electric.

I switched a couple of years ago. Went to a Braun series 7. Used it when I was confined to bed after surgery.

After use, aimply drop into the holder which cleans and recharges. (I actually only put it into the recharger every 3 uses.)

Gives a suitable dry shave although this model can be used for wet shaving too.

I'd have a stool in the shower with a hanging mirror of some sort and use a Harry's 5-blade razor on the throat and cheeks. Let the 'stache and goat' grow, knock'em down every couple of weeks with a beard trimmer.

I hate shaving but the wimmin in my circuit sort of expect it. And even the 40-some year old women call me 'sir' if I have grey stubble.

This is my routine except I'm stand in the shower. For now.

I also recommend using a Braun razor with the cleaning/charging stand. I’ve had one for probably 12-15 years. Clean/charge it every 3rd shave or so. I rinse the debris out of the solution container and refill with denatured alcohol and just a touch of water (otherwise it won’t prime for some reason). It’s not the best shave in the world, but it is fast. I’ll use a regular razor and glycerin soap when going out somewhere special with the wife.

In the past, I have tried the Remington foil shave....not for me. I have been shaving everyday with a Norelco.......since 1960, and have no plans to change. I do not stand in front of a mirror to shave in the A.M. and I use a rechargeable model. I empty my razor's stubble once a week, and that is the extent of the maintenance required. I also have upper lip hair that does gets trimmed with my Remington groomer/trimmer. I am into simple with excellent results.

O2 bottles? Scooter? Dang, I’ve never met you but I built a mental image of you looking like a rough cowboy. Like the Marlboro man.

Oh, no. That was someone else.

If I was someone else, I wouldn’t pretend to be me.

I was a very well groomed and tailored big city lawyer and financier, investment manager, pilot, triathlete, radio operator and tuba player, until about 7 years ago when I was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis. As typical with IPF, since then, I have gotten worse, to my present pitiful state.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

I bet they are recommended, at those prices!

I don’t think I would get my money’s worth.

Thanks!

A braun series 5, rechargeable, with the cleaner machine is $115 at Walmart. I've had a 5 for a few years and have been happy with it.

A series 3 can be had as cheap as $27.50. If you don't have a really tough beard it would probably do fine. Keep in mind it's going to take a couple of weeks for your facial hair to get used to an electric shaver (the way it grows).

All of them at Walmart have free 2 day shipping.
