I just picked up a pre-owned, custom milled gun that has this symbol etched into the slide. At first, I thought it was the logo Boba Fett and the Mandalorian wear on their armor, but it is not. What it is? Do you know?

It's a warthog skull but is it not a video game thing? This morning on the way to work I was behind a Jeep and painted on the spare tire cover, was what I thought was a warthog skull. And I thought to myself "Isn't that a video game thing?" Down on the bumper was an "Achievement Unlocked" sticker, but I couldn't read the fine print to see what the achievement was. "Yeah, it's a video game thing."

European custom? An engraving of a "Euro Mount" of a wild boar would be most appropriate! "I'm not fluent in the language of violence, but I know enough to get around in places where it's spoken."

OK, so it's warthog or boar skull. Is there any significance to this specific warthog skull design? Something from a film, video game, or other media? For instance, we all know what a human skull looks like, but a Jolly Roger skull & crossbones has specific meaning to it.

Maybe. It'd help if we could see the photo, to be able to see the specific warthog skull design. Since it's a Glock 20, and 10mm is a common hunting/wildlife protection sidearm caliber, it may just be that the prior owner was an avid hog hunter and that was his "hog hunting Glock".

Photo's back! That specific boar skull doesn't look like any pop culture reference I'm familiar with. I'm leaning even more towards the hog hunting connection. It could also just be a reference to the ridged pattern milled into the slide. One term for a wild hog is a "razorback", and that same term is used by a few different custom slide millers to market their ridged slide designs. Or both! For example, Dan Wesson offered a "Razorback" model 10mm 1911 for a time with a raised serrated sight rib on the slide, and the razorback term was a nod not only to the milled sight rib but also to the commonality of 10mm hog hunting sidearms. So this one might be along those same lines... 10mm + milled slide = razorback/hog skull emblem. (The Razorback hog also happens to be the mascot of the University of Arkansas, my alma mater.)

There is a Warthogs M/C but their patch is different, look at the tusks. Many images online to view. From their website:The Warthogs Motorcycle Club was established on May 8, 2001 in Detroit, Michigan. This occurred shortly after the founding members, consisting of active and retired law enforcement officers, exited the Wild Pigs Motorcycle Club. Membership in the Warthogs M/C consists of active and retired police officers, firefighters, E.M.T.s, and court officers. The primary goals in becoming a public safety motorcycle club are to develop a bond between public safety officers with similar interests and assist other public safety officers during their time of need. We also assist the orphans and widows of those who lost their lives in the line of duty -------------------------------------—————— ————————--Ignorance is a powerful tool if applied at the right time, even, usually, surpassing knowledge(E.J.Potter, A.K.A. Thanks to those who responded. I guess we're settling on generic warthog skull. To those who had trouble viewing the photo, I used postimages.org to host it.
