I've got a raised bed my son and I planted potatoes in a while ago. They've bloomed and are just starting to yellow just a little. I figure they are a week or two from harvest.

I'm looking for something we can plant to consume. I've got tomatoes and cucumbers on the end. But middle section will be ready for something else to go in. Was thinking maybe carrots or something?

Any ideas?

Squash you can get a planting out of them now.
Just keep them watered.

Green beans. I used to plant blue lakes from seed and they were easy and prolific.

I had a bumper crop of Poison Ivy.

The raised bed would be great for carrots and radishes, but consider fencing around your growing area.

The deer thought my garden was awesome.

My first inclination was Carrots. I like them raw, in a salad, or cooked.
