We've cancelled Netflix as well.

But it's odd that the same people who are saying we should erase old movies like "Gone With the Wind" due to rrrrraaaaaaaaacism are defending this movie.

Cancelled Netflix, not enough bandwidth to watch a movie nonstop anyway. As an old timer once said to me about Hollywood, "The place is run by commies and perverts".

I canceled my Netflix and let them know the reason... It seems to make no difference to them, but it gives me a little satisfaction of being able to vote with my cash.

Cancelled. In the "other" reason box for cancellation, I simply typed "pedophiles".

I think Ted Cruz is on to something. When I saw the clip of the 'selfie' I was like how is that even legal to film? How is being in the room, filming a naked 11 year take pictures not against the law?

Finally got around to canceling Netflix. Been meaning to do it for a long time, but just never did. Every time I saw the charge come across, I would say gotta get this done, but other things would distract me. Been a very long time since I even thought about it, much less watched it. Think it was during winter, when I would turn on the fireplace channel in the background and listen to the music.

Ben Shapiro makes some good points above however I'd just like to make one myself.

The following Video is from the Dove real beauty campaign. It's called onslaught and while it's focus is on the beauty industry it certainly takes on sexualization as well. This short ad was released several years ago.

Notice how they made their point in slightly over a minute, without showing 11 year old girls crotch shots and twerking. I cannot believe that with all that goes into movie making that the director did not intend to exploit those girls to make her point. You cannot tell me that in the hours and hours of editing the director did not at least think about it appealing to pedophiles and decide that was ok. She could have made her point without showing any of it.

This new show cuties is going to have pedophiles all over flogging the bishop and Netflix damn well knows it.

When I first saw the news articles about this I held my nose and watched the trailer. At the time it didn't look to bad. Young girl has trouble at home, takes comfort in friends and dancing. That kind of thing. I turned to my old lady and told her they purposefully left out the bad shit cause they new it would get a rise out of people.

Now I'm reading about crotch selfies and shit? Yuck. This show is downright dangerous to young kids.

Netflix, you assholes, you could have just stuck to making fun shows like 6 Underground and Umbrella Academy. But no, you had to show your ass in public. I hope this hurts but good.

I switched my family to 'mostly' dove products back when this campaign first came out. There are a number of videos that they did dealing with perception and self image. It was a wonderful project, and led to some great conversations with my daughters. thank you for the reminder.

Ensigmatic - I agree that the purpose of the movie was noble, and much like Ben Shapiro, there needs to be a conversation about whether it should or needs to be made as a movie. To answer Ben's question, I disagree that it should have been made. I believed it crossed a line.

Awesome: Netflix Will Now Just Pump Septic Waste Straight Into Your Living Room

LOS GATOS, CA—Streaming giant Netflix has announced a new and innovative service that will literally just pump thousands of gallons of septic waste right into your living room. For the low price of $8.99 per month, you can watch as a sewage truck backs up to your house and pipes 2,000 gallons of brown sludge through the wall until you are neck-deep in toxic waste.

"The industry is evolving, and we're evolving with it," said Reed Hastings, co-CEO and chairman of Netflix. "We started to realize we were paying people millions of dollars to produce expensive septic waste for the family to enjoy and consume unquestionably. As it turns out, you can get the putrid sludge straight from an underground tank for free! Who would've guessed! This will cut billions of dollars from our expenses and enable us to deliver more sewage to your home than ever before!"

The CEO also said not to read too much into the new service: "It's not a metaphor or anything. It's just raw, pure, untreated sewage."

Enthusiastic Netflix customers have jumped on this new service and are gleefully rolling in their slime-coated living rooms. "I don't like all the waste," said one excited parent. "But sometimes, it doesn't smell all that bad. Definitely worth the $8.99 per month!"

Starting next year, Netflix will also offer a more premium service that allows you to have your septic waste delivered by a real-life drag queen.

Despite never watching any of the home spun garbage from Netflix (we watch mostly movies or reruns of shows we like), we will likely be dumping these pedo supporting hedonists from our content list. I for one can easily live without it.

FBI Raids Home Of ‘Netflix Star and Biden Surrogate’ For Allegedly Soliciting Sex From Minors, Report Says

https://www.dailywire.com/news...m-minors-report-says

The FBI reportedly raided the home of Jerry Harris, a Netflix star who appeared in a video with Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden where he encouraged young blacks to vote, for allegedly soliciting sex from minors.

“The criminal investigation is based on allegations brought by 14-year-old twin brothers. In interviews with USA TODAY, the boys described a pattern of harassment, both online and at cheer competitions, that started when they were 13 and Harris was 19,” USA Today reported. “They said it continued for more than a year.”

Harris, a celebrity cheerleader who was recently featured in Netflix’s “Cheer” docuseries, appeared in a video with Biden earlier this summer.

In a piece titled “FBI Raids Home of Netflix Star and Biden Surrogate Over Underage Sex Allegation,” The Washington Free Beacon reported:

Just three months ago the Biden campaign used Harris, who has over a million followers on Instagram, as part of Biden’s push to sway young voters and “win back the internet,” Time magazine reported. The Instagram live video of Harris and Biden was viewed nearly 300,000 times and remains on social media.

It appears that following the publication of the Free Beacon’s report that the social media post was removed from Instagram.

“Nine law enforcement agents spent about three hours Monday afternoon in Harris’ home in Naperville, Illinois,” USA Today added. “The allegations against Harris have been reported to at least four other law enforcement agencies in Texas and Florida.”

The news comes after Netflix has faced backlash in recent days over a highly controversial film that has been widely accused of sexualizing young children. Both prominent Republicans and Democrats have spoken out against the film.

Clips from the Netflix movie “Cuties” released earlier this week are causing survivors of sexual assault and abuse to relive traumatic experiences while normalizing further sexual exploitation of children, sex trafficking survivors and advocates told The Daily Wire.

The Daily Wire noted:

“Cuties,” released on Wednesday and promoted by Netflix, focuses on Amy, an 11-year-old Senegalese girl, growing up in Paris in a traditional Muslim family. The film reveals early that Amy’s father plans to take a second wife, and Amy is thrown into crisis by rejecting the extreme values of her father and looking for belonging in the internet age.

She learns suggestive dance moves — which are portrayed vividly on screen by pre-pubescent girls grabbing themselves and each other and contorting themselves in sexual positions — from social media to earn a spot on a dance troupe at her school called the “Cuties.” The movie ends with Amy, crying, fleeing the troupe and trying to regain her innocence living out a more normal childhood.

Clips of the movie flooded social media soon after its release, sparking strong backlash against Netflix and the movie’s creator, Maïmouna Doucouré, for its racy displays of young girls and camera work that puts the girls’ crotches and buttocks squarely on screen. While many critics blasted the movie as soft-core child pornography, sex trafficking survivor and advocate Eliza Bleu said the film is also giving sexual abuse victims flashbacks of some of the darkest moments of their lives.

It's sad. I tried to cancel netflix last night and they told me I couldn't because it was being paid for by T-mobile. I called T-mobile, voiced my concern and was told there are discussions at the top about this right now. I told T-mobile if they didn't drop their support of netflix, I would be dropping them when my contract expires next year. They killed my netflix account. The rep I spoke to at T-mobile said it concerned her too because she has a 10 year old daughter.

We will see what happens. I am writing a letter to T-mobile execs today.

While it's possible for public pressure to cause a corporation or business to decide to make some change desired by the public, I fail to see how a petition can force Netflix to cease offering this film. If public opinion and rumblings from congressmen would have such an effect, I think we would have already reached that point.

Also, there's no doubt that the outcry about this film has given it far more exposure than it would get otherwise, and the people who run Netflix are twisted enough to look at all of this as being to their advantage, at least in the short term.

You can bet your bottom dollar that Netflix has acquired new customers because of the controversy, just so they can see the writhing 11 year old kids.
