Joey Douchebagatoni would be meeting Jesus in Georgia.

The instant he sticks his paws in the window, the ice pick comes out to play.

Open the door? It's Jesus meetin time.

Holy smokes, there's a lot of wrong in that video!

That said, I'm sure I'm not the only one armchair quarterbacking that one. A part of me likes to think that it would have been fun to see the attackee just nail the throttle and push Jersey boy's car about 50 yards down the road.

(Yes, I know that likely wouldn't happen given those two particular vehicles, and physics, and timing, and all that, but sometimes the Wile E Coyote part of my brain takes over. Big Grin )

God bless America.

That’s a good shooting here in Florida.
And probably be considered a public service.

Clean shooting scenario here in Missouri. Castle doctrine is a wonderful thing here, and extends onto whatever you pay property tax on...like your car.

Stand outside my car and yell, scream, or stroke-out - I don't care, you do you big guy. I'll be in the car laughing at your lunacy. But if you touch my car in a threatening or aggressive manner, or attempt entry - it's game on.

It seems like the only places this regularly happens are places where it's regularly allowed.

So I have to ask - At what point can the driver in the car use deadly force to protect themself - that would stand up in court?

Varies by state but here in Texas, you would have to be in fear of your life or great bodily harm.

Thanks smschulz - I guess it would also depend on what he was saying at the time he was beating on the driver and then trying to pull the driver out of their vehicle.

Example - If he is threatening to kill the driver during this altercation.

As soon as the door opens it’s either bang or backup rapidly. Driver probably never considered what to do in that situation. He ended up nearly crushed in front of his own car instead of explaining to officers how he stepped on the “wrong “ pedal

The "victim" shouldn't have rolled down his window and getting out to confront the guy at the end was extra stupid.

Up until that point, he was OK. We also didn't see what set the original guy off. Not that that's an excuse, just an open question.

Looks like two people with less than optimal judgement met, and nature took it's course.

OK, no one got shot. My question is, with the video of his actions & license plate, what type of follow up?

Is it likely he will get charged with assault or anything?

It’s getting crazy out there. Just got off the phone with my son. They were waiting for a deputy sheriff. They are driving back from AR. He just got sideswiped by a car that was following him and his wife right on his bumper. He said he slowed down and moved over and waved the car on. He said he waved him on stopped and the car stopped behind him. Then the car moved and passed him sideswiping his entire drivers side. Then took off.
