To just put some emphasis on what that reporter said...

Seriously...

Dealing with the "public" for thirty two years on the cop job gave me an opinion. An opinion I hold to be true to this day. An opinion reinforced by that video.

I strongly feel; There are people out there, so stupid, it's amazing they find their way home each day.

I get the impression that some of the people in that video were in on the joke.

Until you live in the Deep South for an extended period of time you really can’t appreciate how frequent this stuff happens

In Savannah there was a protest that actually successfully stopped the potential widening of a major road because it might have caused the closure of a Krystal

And that was one of the more normal things to happen on your average Saturday in Savannah

Bon Mot!

I remember that the TBs used to be square faux-adobe structures. About 20 years ago TB sold those off and modernized. I dunno the why it wuz but for some reason used car dealers luved the heck out of those old TB lots. Almost instantly the TB building would be surrounded by banners, flags, and the lot filled with shitty cars.

Also, I would like to support TT's post regarding the food handling at TB. I worked at a TB for a summer when I was in college. TB food safety is surprisingly good , albeit that is dependent on the diligence of the crew and managers. The ingredients are pre-prepped at the factory so if they are kept at the right temperatures then the risk is minimal.

Usually when I eat out I can figure out a recipe that costs less and tastes better. There are some restaraunts that cannot be beat... Din Ho, Star of India, Little Deli, Whataburger, Taco Bell.

Baja Blast. It’s a flavor of MtDew that used to only be available at Taco Bell. You can now get it in cans, so she should be ok

It would have been much better if they were wearing some of those sweet RIP t-shirts that always show up at urban street memorials.

That's funny. One late evening many moons ago a few us drove to TB after going out. We're ordering and I ask for a bean burrito. TB dude, "Sorry, we're out." I'm like, "what, out of what, beans? Is this not Taco Fucking Bell?" "What's the point of being open?" (I was not driving and maybe have had a mild buzz) How does that even happen, seriously. I still do not understand to this day.

Maybe that was the TB that should have burned down!!! That was a shitty night nearly "starving" to death on the way home, though had they had beans it might have been shittier. Razz

Man, that takes me back... in all seriousness.

I used to work around that area in Montgomery, just a little west of there.

WOW! I think I ate at that place before, and one of my friends, also named James, worked there.... um, 30 years ago.
