You want to believe this is fake but you just can't this up. Charles Goff said he found the rattlesnake on Monday night. He said he knows how to handle snakes and put it in a tank. He said his neighbors should not have been playing with the snake when Reinold was bit. "The next morning before I got up, they were playing with the snake," Goff said. "One boy said, 'I'm going to kiss it in the mouth,' and the snake bit him in the face." Goff said Reinold and another man were being irresponsible by playing with the snake. "Ron was just acting silly, you know?" he said. "I guess he said he could kiss the devil and get away with it, but evidently he didn't." Goff said he believes his neighbors let the snake go after it bit Reinold. "So the snake is still out here running around somewhere," he said. An expert told Action News Jax that the bite was likely very painful. That idiot better hope he has a lot of natural immunity to rattlesnake venom (not likely). From what I've heard antivenom is unbelievably expensive, not to mention the costs of hospitalization. A lady I know was bit on the leg by one and her treatment costs ran close to $200K. Insurance paid for most of it, but she still had a good deal to pay out of pocket. | |||

Florida news. The gift that keeps on giving.  I was on a cruise ship last week off of Catalina Island, CA, and the local news on board ship was from Florida for some reason. This must be some kind of achievement idiots aspire to because this same thing happened 10 or more years ago when I lived in San Diego. Some dolt got a hold of a rattlesnake and told his friends "Watch this" as he pretended to kiss it.
