bordethDO YA LIKE YA A GOOD CORN DOG??
This is an exclusive club that I would like to be a member but the whole "no gall bladder and appendix thing" I have going on makes it an unfortunate hard no.
Enjoy gents!

tatortoddI enjoyed the JCI Grill corn dog so much earlier in the week that I had lunch there again. Corn dog was good, but saw they had a chili cheese corn dog so ordered one of those as well.
I like their chili cheese dogs, I like their corn dogs, but do not like chili cheese corn dogs.

flesheatingvirusHonestly, I've never been a fan of the corn dog. The wife thinks I'm nuts.

I have a Sonic that is to close to the house. Get at least one for the drive home. Yellow mustard packet smeared down one side. Yum Yum Yummy.
Came here to post this - Sonic's corn dawgs aren't the best, but they'll do in a pinch.
Whenever I get that text message about the .99 sale, I hit one one the way home for a few.

rat2306Corn dog night tonight! Productive day; picked up some cartridges (to include the unicorn CCI Speer
shotshells in .44), and another cap and ball revolver. Saw a Sonic while making the rounds, but I couldn't get over two lanes in time to make it there for corn dogs. Thankfully, I had a pack in the freezer.

arfmelThose Sonic corn dogs are tiny. They seem about 1/2 as big as the typical corn dog used to be, back in the day. I’m not sure they’re worth 99¢.

AllenInARI was reading this poll to my wife. And I quote...
"Yellow mustard. Period. And if you use ketchup, you're a bitch. Mayonnaise, you're weird."
She went on to recommend Plochmans mustard.
Me? I like the brown horseradish mustard, but I don't think I've ever tried yellow mustard on a corn dog.

parabellumDAIRY QUEEN!
IT'S THE GOD'S HONEST TRUTH THAT THE BEST CHEESEBURGER I'VE EVER HAD WAS FROM A DAIRY QUEEN OUTSIDE OF SEVIERVILLE, TENNESSEE . YESSIR. 19 AND 99, IT WAS.
ASK ME TO EXPLAIN IT. I CAN'T. I'VE HAD GOURMET BURGERS PREPARED BY FANCY-ASS CHEFS AT FANCY-ASS RESTAURANTS. I'VE HAD BURGERS THAT COME OFF THE GRILL OF THE BEST BACKYARD COOK WHO EVER LIVED. HICKORY SMOKED, JUICY. THE KIND OF BURGERS SO GOOD, IF'N THE COW THEY CAME FROM KNEW WHAT CAME OUTTA THEIR DEAD CARCASS, THEY WOULD'VE SUICIDED THEIR OWN DAMN SELF JUST TO GET THE BALL ROLLING.
IT DON'T MAKE NO SENSE. IT'S JUST THE WAY IT IS THAT THE BEST BURGER I'VE EVER HAD WAS SERVED TO ME IN A PAPER SACK BY SOME KID NAMED DELMONT OR SOME SUCH SHIT.
'COURSE, AS THE SAYING GOES, HUNGER MAKES THE BEST SAUCE, SO THAT MIGHT HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH IT.

Dollars to donuts it was still a Brazier burger, wasn't it?

parabellumYESSIR IT WAS A BY GOD BRAZIER!! IT WAS SO GOOD THAT, WELL, I DIDN'T CRY AFTER FINISHING IT AND I DIDN'T HAVE TO PULL OVER ON THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY TO COMPOSE MYSELF BUT IF I HAD WEPT MAN TEARS IT WOULD HAVE BEEN UNDERSTANDABLE.
I SAID DELMONT, GODDAMN SON!

StorminNorminI used to love DQ! I only have one near me and it went to absolute hell and then went out of business. The building sat for months and now for months has a sign saying it will be opened by a new owner who supposedly owns several in surrounding small cities. I will give them a try when they open. I now want a freaking corn dog!

rat2306I love Dairy Queen, too, but it seems like they use more salt on everything that my doctor would allow! Not to drift the thread; does anyone remember if Tastee Freez offered corn dogs and partook of them? That chain was pretty popular for a while (used to be one two blocks from one Grandmother's place in the '60s, and the burgers were great).

10-96I'm not picking up some things ya'll are putting down... How is it there are folks here who've never had a corndog? Is that a regional anomaly? If you've been denied the pleasure of a good corndog, please tell me you've at least tried a Frito Pie at a high school football game or a livestock auction???
