One wonders how Don Lemon came to the conclusion that "women in their 50s are" somehow "past their prime". He also made a point of saying that "a woman is considered in her prime in her twenties and thirties", which is even more absurd since it sweeps in millions of women in their 40s. Thus my question - does Don Lemon actually know any women who aren't CNN interns?

I understand he wants to undercut Republican women who are running for office. I understand both Dianne Feinstein and Nancy Pelosi both seem to (finally) be headed for retirement.

I still think he spoke off his airheaded cuff and painted with an awfully broad brush, and I think an awful lot of Democratic candidates who are women over 50 are going to have something pretty sharp to say about all that.

Meanwhile, in the local scene, it will probably come as no surprise that they do just fine here whether in the private sector or when it comes to running for office. Or dating, for that matter.

It's not surprising that Lemon would stick his foot in his mouth like that. He's had all sorts of things in that hole.

Not only did Lemon say this, he said it in the presence of his two female co-hosts, and I just love the effeminate hands-on-the-hips posture he managed while seated! That boy is as dumb as a bag of hammers.

Who can forget Lemon's on-air ruminations about Malaysian flight MH370 disappearing into a black hole? Make your own jokes.

I actually watched that segment this morning. It was pretty funny. (My wife watches CNN in the morning. Otherwise, I would never watch any Cable T.V. news.)

I'm going to have to answer that question as probably no.

He's genuinely stupid. In his rush to find anything to condemn a female Republican presidential candidate, he couldn't manage to think two seconds ahead of what might come out of his mouth and how much of an insult it was to the two women in his presence, and much of the female viewership of CNN.

Lemon supports a male POTUS that's pushing 80, but say a woman in her fifties is past her prime. All the time, we call news people stupid, but Don Lemon is the genuine article- an authentically stupid person.

And the icing on the cake is his lame Appeal to Authority argument of "just Google it." The equally stupid ox Cenk Uygur pulls the same shit when he's losing an argument.

He now claims he did a search using those terms and Google came back with that answer.
One of his more quick witted co-hosts questioned if he was talking about a reference to child bearing years but he was too slow to pick up on the obvious answer.
Maybe he was just too arrogant to admit she had a much more intelligent answer to the question.
He's now approaching Kamala Harris and Hank Johnson on the clueless scale which puts him in a special class.

Don Lemon is an insufferable jackass. Love seeing him frantically try to backpedal.

I can't wait for him to say something so stupid that they're willing to fire a gay black man from national television.

I was thinking if he’s talking physically then yes he’s correct but that’s not limited to women.

You can’t talk about physicality anymore so he must be talking about mental capability decline which again isn’t limited to women. I think you could be better in your 50’s mentally, certainly more likely than physically unless someone made a huge lifestyle change later in life.

Either way if he was white or straight he would be hanging with Fredo.

It’s almost like he is wanting to get fired so he can start the inevitable lawsuit. CNN cannot get worse ratings so they might as well let him finish his contract and then just not renew it.

I wonder if he managed to offend his viewer.
