Did something similar on a USAF network. Received an error "no profanity allowed", or something like that, as an error.

Mentioned it to the VP of our network security. The error message no longer appears. Stuff about our goobermint.

But as a senior the detailed memory does get a bit weaker. I just went through it on one of my college accounts, everything screwed up/locked up because I forgot to note one letter was upper case rather than lower case.

I've become my parent's tech support.

Trying to help my mom with there cable bill issues.

Me: nope that's not it.

Me: well Comcast doesn't think it is

I try and give her a secure yet good password but nope she likes her own that she then can't remember.

Tech support with your parents is fun.......

A few weeks ago my brother and I were both at their house. My mom needed help and my brothers like or that easy I can fix it. I'm shaking my head. Yep, he tries to log in to her account for something and nope not the right password.

When we got new software for the dept computers, you had to take a tutorial to learn the system. The system asked for my name and refused to run unless I entered a name.
I entered:
Asshole.
Next page came up:
Hello and welcome, Asshole!
I thought this was hilarious, as it reported my progress on the tutorial to our IT chick. "Asshole has completed 40%" of the tutorial". An investigation ensued and asshole was identified as me. No one else shared my sense of humor, apparently.
