I've had slowdowns with Firefox in the past; I have no proof, but I believe after a certain number of upgrades, it gets cluttered. The cure has always been the same: completely uninstall it, and install a new copy from scratch. It doesn't take long.

If uninstalling, then installing a new copy doesn't work, try doing a refresh. It worked wonders for me.
Go to Firefox help, troubleshooting info, then click on "Refresh firefox".

I have an MLB subscription and follow baseball games on my desktop. Works so much better using Chrome and I much prefer Chrome's bookmark toolbar on the top of the screen.

You mean like this?
Firefox and Waterfox can do that as well.

Thanks. I just refreshed it and we will see if that helps.
