This is pretty cool. When I was a Purdue student, tuition rate increase were about 3x the rate of inflation. Having former Indiana governor Mitch Daniels as Purdue's president sure has been good for us.

Good deal for in-state @ $9,992. Out of state is high @ $28,794. Back in 95 when I attended Colorado State, it was $3,500 for in-state and ~$10k for out of state. Out of curiosity I checked and it's $11.5k and $29k, respectively now. I guess Purdue isn't out of line with out of state students. Nice job on keeping it the same for 7 years running! I went to a community college for 52 credits @$600 per semester (93-94). I might make my kids do the same.

Considering how Purdue ranks nationally for engineering it's a bargain for Indiana residents and still a solid value for out of state students. Georgia Tech and University of Illinois are the only Top 10 undergrad engineering programs that even come close cost wise. That’s pretty cool. I went to the Marines instead of college, not that Purdue would have accepted me anyway, but my mom, dad and brother all went to Purdue and I grew up a Boilermaker fan. “Everybody wants a Sig in the sheets but a Glock on the streets.” -bionic218 04-02-2014

Dang! When I transferred down to CalPoly San Luis Obispo in ‘83 I was accepted for Summer quarter but wanted to start in Spring. The lady in whatever office it was said I could come in Spring and pay by the unit, but it would be double the cost. At $500/quarter it was still considerably less than where I was transferring from, so I didn’t blink. Ten years later a community college was more than double!
