Lost poor sweet Trixie the 3 legged wonder dog yesterday.or the longest time she didn't let her handicap slow her down. She always wanted to see people and towards the end I either carried her to see new people or I sent them over to talk with her. I believe she is hanging out with the others over the rainbow bridge enjoying herself and pain-free now.

I'm sorry for your loss. She does indeed have many friends on the other side to greet her. Many of which I have sent myself. Be comforted in this my friend

Our current dog is 7, doing very well. I’ve been through the process a fair amount, never easy.

I try to give them the best 10-13 years possible, larger dogs here. I try to make the litter mates envious of where the sibling went.

After a period of time, if the lifestyle allows, I keep a lookout. We have a household that isn’t right without a dog, ain’t scared of a little hair.
