For those who were/are in sales jobs/companies

Every time a new "sales" movie comes out, take you pick

-boiler room
-wolf of wall street
-Billions (tv show)

Is it just me or does management start to think they actually ARE the people depicted in these shows?

wannabe Gordon Geckos and Jordan Belforts exist by the thousands in corporate America.

the biggest changes I saw were when
A. the kids or grand kids took over the business.

B. after a "consultant" was hired.

that was at the lower levels.

but o.m.g.
when the upper management saw laptops and cell phone on tv and in the movies, they went nuts.
everybody thought they were "the" schnit
