Phone mount for inside vehicle Login/Join

Ok, I've resisted all these years but after two recent incidents where I needed my phone but it went tumbling around out of reach, I've got to have a better solution than letting my device sit in the console.

An ad for this pop'd upon YT recently which was intriguing BUT, I figured I'd check with the members and see what everyone is using, likes and what other considerations. Having it positioned for video-calls would be nice as I do occasionally use that feature but, having a designated mount would be good.

Not cheap but holds specific phones. the mount is specific to a vehicle & the phone holder is a separate item. I have used Proclip for several years.

I have a Proclip device in my Toyota. I really like it, as it holds the phone securely, and holds it low and out of the way.

In my VW and Nissan, I had setups from Panavise that I liked just as much.

If you don’t mind losing a cupholder, the CupFone from WeatherTech is a good one, too.

I've always heard good reports on Proclip and Panavise.
Those would be my first searches if I needed a car mount.

I am partial to Tackform Mounts

Depending on your vehicle, they may have a specific mount available but they also have some generic ones that will work with most vehicles. I've got one of their bike mounts too. Solid as a rock and keeps the vibrations down which helps since I use an iPhone.

I purchased two of these VANMASS Car Phone Holder off of Amazon at the end of last year, and both my son and I are happy with it.

It can mount to the dashboard or windshield and holds the phone in position very well and is stable (not bouncy).

They are a big improvement over the 'cheap' and wobbly gooseneck holders that we both had which eventually broke.

I was looking at ProClip maybe for my Camry, and the pictures show the mount blocking one of the AC vents. Are the designers stupid, or is there something I'm not catching?

I put his one in after I got a ticket for having my phone in my hand.

Not doing anything with it. Just holding it.

I have it stuck to the dash and it hasn't moved.

I've tried plenty and most were crap especially during the summer in Arizona.

But I bought this in December 2024 and it's still going strong. It hasn't lost its suction after my initial install. I have it sticking to my dash, not the windshield.

Car Phone Holder.

Now, the description says 2026 Ultimate Best but this is what my order link went to. And it does look like what I have.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." What year vehicle?
Even my 9 yr old Toyota truck has Bluetooth and they are slow as hell in adopting tech!
I’m assuming no Bluetooth connection? My phone stays in the holster on my hip.

I'll second the proclip...the only mounts I'll use. They are vehicle specific and designed to fit perfectly.

+++ Proclip. Pricey but modular so if you swap cars, you just need a new mount and can use your old holder.

I've been using a cup holder unit with a goose neck that has been 'ok' but the phone mounts very low near the gear shift

just ordered the ProClip and the cradle and should have it in about a week. Anything should be an improvement, and I get my cup holder back Smile
