It was a good game. Goff had the dear in headlights look from the start, and spent a lot of time running away from Patriots D linemen and linebackers. Patriots O linement kept the Rams monsters off Brady, pretty much.

You all catch Brady audibling “Reagan, Reagan”? It means “run right”

Yea....funny how haters can’t resist a “side shot” or a crack at fudging the line with a BS lead in like,”I watched, but ya know...fill in some stoopid crap smack-tard sjw/butt sore statement here.

Take it else where.

It’s party here.

And for those who don’t like chess, the checkers Are on the other side of the post season.

Enjoy.

Great defensive slug-fest, between, perhaps the 2 best defensive coaches, ever. Wade Phillip's defensive effort is unfortunately overshadowed. He had the more difficult task in trying to shutdown an offensive with a offensive coordinator in the field. And he basically did so, holding a HOF QB to 1 TD and 1 Interception. Not his fault the offensive side of the team sucked.

The dark lord faced an offense with the offensive coordinator on the sideline, who could not bark out orders to his young QB x seconds before the snap. Perhaps the different in this game.

Goff needs to also learn to -read- the defense and more through his progression faster. Otherwise he'll fail at QB in the NFL, like many others from the collegiate ranks.

One quote I read, was spot on. With all the tweaks in the rules to favor the offense over the defense, this 13-3 result, really pays tribute to both defensive coaches and their extensions on the field.

Great game if you like defensive chess matches.

The real SB was KC-NE. The Saints did get robbed, but, then, 'they' wanted a coast to coast SB.

New Orleans has not been important since General Andrew Jackson's time down there, with a better result.

It only stands to reason that where there's sacrifice, there's someone collecting the sacrificial offerings. Where there's service, there is someone being served. The man who speaks to you of sacrifice is speaking of slaves and masters, and intends to be the master.

My vote for MVP would be the collective secondary of both teams (minus Coleman). Some insane defensive plays were made by both teams.

One of the talking heads afterwards said the McVay’s offense made a bunch of guy’s work. And that Belichek made Goff go from being one of those guys to having to be “the guy”, and he couldn’t do it

I think the quote was

“He was a guy, but couldn’t be the guy”

Very accurate.

Guys, if you don't like Football, or didn't watch the Super Bowl, don't come in here and take a piss.

It's trolly, and we don't suffer trolls.

Not then. Maybe with some more experience. They have the D, but it isn’t yet the Greatest Show on Turf.

Brady said he wants to play until 45. He’s 42. Belichick is 67. This run will end soon enough.

I thought when Chung went out, the Rams would easily exploit his loss. An effective Gurley and it's a walk over. The Pats D had to be just about perfect and they were, another ring. Fine by me, the Rams didn't deserve to be there.

Hilarious side note: Watched this in the St.Louis market, a news tease (?) in the second half suggested there's a push for creating a Missouri NFL team, the Chiefs sharing time between KC and St.Louis. That's some desperate, needy, sad shit right there. Big Grin Big Grin

Crazy. 3-0 at half time? Only one touchdown in the entire game? So many Super Bowls are blowouts. It was nice to watch some good defense. I’m a 49ers fan first, Patriots second. Huge Joe Montana fan and been a big Brady fan for a few years.

Just for the heck of it, below is a photo I took with Patrick Chung in it during his college days at Oregon. I took this photo at the beginning of a celebration of a game ending interception by #20 in the photo. Patrick Chung is #15. I decided to see if I had any photos of Chung cause he got hurt yesterday. Been a Chung fan for years. Photo taken in 2007 from the endzone.

I'm not "piling on."

Great pic! My son got to spend some 1:1 time with Chung at a fundraiser last year. Great guy and had a laugh when my son kept calling him Mr. Chung. He even looked surprised. He signed one of his hats and made a cool design on it. Been a pats fan my whole life and remember the dark days of the 70’s-80’s. Enjoyed seeing a defensive game on both sides for once.

Thank you. I was impressed with Chung when I took this photo and have been impressed with his NFL career. So many guys that played in this game back in 2007 went on to the NFL. It was also Mark Sanches’s first game as a starter in college.

Tony Romo was great as always. My favorite moment was when Brady came to the line and called an audible, "Reagan, Reagan!" Romo said...must be a run to the right. And the play was -- a run to the right!

Saw where some lucky dude put down a ~$250 bet in Vegas on Rams to score no more than 3, at 400-1.

Wowza!
