FIFY.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Every living kennedy used their tentacles to kill this event. I should have been the end of his career and many a victimized women would never have been infected by this beast!

Don't forget the part where he called his lawyer prior to calling for help.

I lived in Harrisburg PA during/after TMI (Three Mile Island). In the protests against nuclear power afterwards....

Pipe fitters union gave out bumper stickers which said "more people have died in the back seat of Ted Kennedy's car than in a nuclear power plant".

The radio ad is warning of "depictions of historical smoking". Smoking has been demonized to such an extent... gun owners are up next.

Him and his fake neck brace - trying to get some sympathy after the drunken bum left a young woman to drown. Him dying of brain cancer at 77 is fitting. If only we didn't have to listen to him for 40 years after.

I won't see it. I am sure that Hollywood will pretzel this story any way they can to try to make Kennedy look like some kind of heroic or sympathetic figure.

I haven't the slightest interest. I was in high school at the time and formed my opinion then. I have no need to see a re-interpretation.

He also walked past a fire station on his way back to the house where he'd been partying so he could call his family and the lawyer.

Please reconsider going to the theater to see it, if you're not currently interested. From what I've heard it doesn't pull punches. If somebody's made a relatively honest movie that shines the light of truth on icons of the left, the only way we'll get more movies that do the same is if they make money. I won't go on opening weekend, but maybe in a week or two, and I rarely go to the theater.

There was pressure on Byron Allen to not release the movie.

Awww crap. Why doesn't Byron Allen have hair anymore? Damn, I'm getting old.
I might see this film, while taking my two youngest kids of 16 & 18... They've already asked about the "Kennedy Mystique". Roll Eyes

I was expecting a rewrite of history to make it seem like Kennedy was innocent or at least not responsible. Rush got an a copy of it not to long ago, and reviewed it yesterday. He said it was very accurate, no punches were pulled, and that if this movie was produced while Kennedy was in office, he would not win another election.

One of the nice thing about my "Movie Pass" card is it has already paid for itself in movies I want to see. If I end up seeing a dud I am not out any more cash.

I've heard it isn't terribly kind to old Ted, so I do plan on seeing it.

What part of "...Shall not be infringed" don't you understand???

Ted had the first confirmed kill in the war on women. I hear he’s been sober for almost 9 years now.

The kopechne family has been quiet for 50 years. I wonder how many Kennedy millions they got to stay quiet ?
