Heck, I had to play that game starting in 1973 when working as a motorcycle mechanic. Either a hard sock in arm if caught looking or a finger in the middle of the O. It paid to be obsevent and quick with ones finger to in order to avoid the sock. New age crybabies need to make everything about themselves being offended. Probably goes hand in hand with their participation trophy mentality. ----------------------------------- Regards, Steve The anticipation is often greater than the actual reward

The ever-curious part of me is glad this has come to light. There's a truck in my neighborhood with a fairly large (like a foot square) sticker of that hand gesture in the back window, with the text "made you look." I've wondered for a VERY long time now what that was all about... now I know. God bless America.

Geee, just what I thought. The circle game... https://www.foxnews.com/politi...using-them-of-racism "Both the Military Academy, in West Point, N.Y., and the Naval Academy, in Annapolis, Md., said this week that the personnel at the game were playing the “sophomoric” game that had nothing to do with racism. “Multiple individuals stated that the circle game is commonly played at the Naval Academy and in other military and civilian settings,” the Navy report stated, according to the Navy Times. “Additionally, when viewed in context with the other behavior displayed by both midshipmen and cadets during Gameday, it is reasonable to believe the midshipmen were playing the circle game.” The Navy said the midshipmen showed “genuine shock” over the controversy, insisting they weren’t aware of the symbol’s racist ties. “However, we are disappointed by the immature behavior of the two Fourth Class Midshipmen, and their actions will be appropriately addressed,” Naval Academy Superintendent Vice Adm. Sean Buck said. West Point reached a similar conclusion."

And thus proving that you can find racism anywhere if that is your primary intent. More likely those who cried "racism" will now protest the military is merely covering it up. "America is at that awkward stage. It's too late to work within the system,,,, but too early to shoot the bastards." -- Claire Wolfe "If we let things terrify us, life will not be worth living." -- Seneca the Younger, Roman Stoic philosopher
