Member 12131 (Dr. Vu, I believe, but we haven't been formally introduced) has been so very generous, that when I saw the cake that he was given by his coworkers I was inspired to honor his generosity.

So, in honor of 12131's birthday, and his generosity, I am giving away a chocolate doberge cake from Gambinos Bakery of New Orleans:

https://gambinos.com/shop/doberge-cakes/doberge-cake

Gambinos is a great New Orleans bakery, and this is a long time family favorite. The cakes ship fine, as they are freshly baked, frozen, and shipped to arrive fresh within two days. This cake should be refrigerated upon arrival. I typically eat it cold, but you can leave it, or a slice, out to warm up if you wish. Just don't leave the whole cake out to spoil prematurely.

Rules:

1) State that you like cake,
2) Wish 12131 Happy Birthday and/or thank him for his generous Karmas; and
3) Live in the contiguous U.S.(sorry but shipping costs can be prohibitive elsewhere)

I'll let this go a few days or until interest peters out.

Happy birthday Dr. Vu!

In please! I like cake! My boss & our HR manager are both originally from LA, Lafayette & NO respectively & have heard them talking about these cakes.
Our HR manager gets a couple king cakes a year from Radanzzo's & brings them in to the office.

Birthday & karma wishes to 12131 in their respective threads.

TX is nice & close.

I love me some cake, please add me to this karma.

Although his recent karmas have gone waaaaay beyond generous, 12131's willingness to take the time to share his knowledge, opinions, and advice via PMs is truely appreciated.

I am definitely a big fan of cake.

I am continually amazed at how 12131 one-ups himself with each new karma. Sir, you are a generous individual!

I am going to enter, as always, on behalf of the volunteers at PAWS Assistance Dogs. They do an amazing job and are so dedicated to the dogs and to our veterans. If I win, I will be presenting the cake to them in honor of Honestlou and 12131.

I like cake.

Happy birthday, 12131 or, known in my book as CSI Sigforum (I've always been impressed with his knowledge of handguns as demonstrated time and again).

Thanks for the chance.
