Had their update on my iPhone 15 a couple days ago. Ever since, some websites that I frequent just show a blank page when I click on the icon on the home screen to try to get on. And, it's just random. Sometimes it's SIGforum, sometimes it's my AT&T email or Fox News, etc... I had to go into the history as a backdoor way to get on. Anyone experiencing the same thing?

Yes. Same for me. SF wouldn’t load.
This update sucks. Do a search about the 26 update shows many problems. It also has changed so many things that I dislike. While it can be reversed its a pain and will only be temporary.

This update sucks.

You can say that again. Prior feature letting you add a website to the home screen is gone. Or, if it's still there, it's hidden somewhere. Roll Eyes

How can this be reversed? I have 16. Did the update 2 days ago like 12131. Don't like what it did. Made it harder to operate some of the features, like adding a new page to visit website. My phone always default to having to select between Private and Normal website. Mad

Is this re: 26.2? I'm on 26.1 - a little quirky but mostly functional. Delaying 26.2 for now I guess. Brave on iOS still sucks.

Updated to 26.1 on an iPhone 13. No actual problems, but no I don't like the new interface.

Sounds like 26.2 fixes some major, critical security holes. I'm updating and will put up with functional issues I guess. I have banking apps that I use on the phone. Despite this, I still trust iphone/apps over windows/browser. Perhaps I shouldn't....

Do a search and it will tell you how it can be reversed but you need a computer to do it and that will only last so long.

I have always done update as soon as i get them and only ever remember it changing a few minor things. This one has changed up so much and it really pisses me off. I am sure i will figure things out and get used to it but i shouldn’t have to imo.

I got updated to 26 on an iPhone 14+. I don’t mind the “glass” interface. I welcome the call screening feature. I use Google Chrome as my browser. I keep Safari as the default but I only use it to go to Sigforum.

I haven’t noticed any issues. I see 26.2 update is in the queue. That tells me they found bugs already.

I haven't updated to 26.2 yet. In my experience Apple is very good about fixing bug and protecting security breaches with their updated. However, I must say I REALLY HATE LIQUID GLASS. Once in a while Apple goes too far and has to be pulled back, I think Liquid Glass is one thing that they will need to reverse.
Apple tries to literally be all things to all people. That means there are almost infinite choices in settings. I go to Grok to ask how to find out how to set up my iPhone for something.

I just updated mine to 26.2 minutes ago. The recent update 26.1 something was having problems.
Things like message pages going black and I had to just close the app and/or reboot it to clear it up.
Time will tell if this newer version fixes the issues.

I’ve been on 26.x since about a week after it came out. No issues I’ve come across.

Just updated one of my iPads to 26.2, will run it a few days to check things out before updating the other iStuff.

On the iPad I updated to 26.2, the feature is still there.

Upper right corner, “Send” (box with up arrow)
“More” (three dots)
“Add to Home Screen”

Same process as before.

On the iPhone, it is the three dots lower right corner, then “Share” and the rest of the process is the same.

iOS 17.7 here on my iPhone 14. I've been resisting the change, but will probably need to upgrade to iOS 18 before that's not an option any longer. Why does the updated Photos app in iOS 18 seem like it's a click bait app that wants to sell me something? I don't want Liquid Glass and I'm diametrically opposed to the AI (Apple Intelligence Roll Eyes) that is iOS 26!

I did the update and I thought my alarms weren’t working anymore - the volume was extremely low, even though my sound level was turned up. It turns out that I had to go into settings, sound and haptics, and raise the volume slider, which had somehow been set to the lowest (No sound) level after the update. Just putting up with the other changes.

Damn right!

Why change stuff for the sake of change?
The search bar used to be on the bottom, then they moved it to the top, now it's on the bottom again... STOP MOVING STUFF!

I get updating security issues, and functional stuff, but damn, Apple is really paying someone to change the font?
I want that job!!!
