It was probably 2000 (but might have been ‘01) when we bought Honda quads for the ranch. My wife got a 350 (rancher?) and I got a 450 (foreman?). By comparison, the 450 is a pig. The 350 handles much better and if it gives anything up for our uses, I haven’t been able to figure out what it is. I’m sure they’ve changed, but if you get a chance, I’d drive a 350 and a 450 and see what you think.
