Three more teams lose, leaving 3 undefeated teams. Six players picked teams that lost, leaving nine survivors. Mttaylor1066 & cheesegrits have used up all of their possibilities, so only seven pickers move forward to Week 9. Post your week 9 picks in this thread. Redeemed!

The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. Kuglespritz and our gracious organizer have woven a surprisingly effective pathway through a minefield this year. Still anything can happen, and pinbot's early post may be important! Good times. You only have integrity once. - imprezaguy02

Good luck to those remaining. I think this thread is my favorite thread on all the forums I visit. The premise seems simple, pick an undefeated team to stay undefeated each week. It aint simple. In this era of college football, undefeated teams can lose unexpectidly. That makes this thread even more fun. Thanks for another fun year! Ok, so yall know I am a Troy fan. Troy stinks. So for the rest of the season, I am going to pull for the 0-7 Northern Illinois Huskies. I want them to get a win because I know how much suck they went through in summer two-a-days and offseason conditioning. I want them to pull out one win. ^^^ Yep, interesting duel between Kuglespritz and jmtgsx... UCLA plays late afternoon, and Miami follows in the evening. This is it for me. It’s been fun. Thanks, jmtgsx. "Some things are apparent. Win or lose, I'm done after this evening. Congratulations to JMTGSX & KUGLESPRITZ for their navigation. Good luck gentleman! All I can do is patiently wait for 2027 NCAA Football Survival Pool to try and redeem myself. Cheers!

Close game last night and the Tar Heels came close to upsetting the Hurricanes. Like all of you, I look forward every year to participate in the Sig Forum NCAA Football Survival Pool.

JMTGSX & KUGLESPRITZ survive and each have one remaining pick... and it's the same pick.. (It would have been amusing if Utah had lost this week, leaving no one with a pick next week So, I guess it all comes down to who posts first in the Week 10 thread... Advantage: JMTGSX "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. So two remaining players with the same pick. The rules state that given a tie, the poster who posted first wins. So, I would suggest and this is not my game to make the rules, but I would suggest that next week's thread not be started by JMTGSX as he is one of the remaining players and starts these threads. I think chellim1 should start the thread at a random time. Why him? He works in justice and is supposed to be fair and impartial.
