The Senate’s border deal has been released, and it’s a horror show. It’s a $118 billion package tied to more aid for Ukraine that does next to nothing to solve the current crisis at the southern border. Don’t let the billions more in border security fool you. More funding for border agents is Biden-speak for more personnel to process the asylum claims, not to deport people who shouldn’t be here.

And while the bar for would-be asylum seekers has been raised in the bill, there are other provisions in the legislation that ensure Democrats have plenty of talking points for when they make their mass amnesty push, which has been the Left’s long-term goal

It also includes a measure to provide a government-funded lawyer to any unaccompanied children age 13 or under, and give any migrant put into expedited removal proceedings 72 hours to find a lawyer to contest deportation.

The bill would create 50,000 new green-card-eligible visas per year, for five years, 32,000 of which would be for families and 18,000 of which would be employment-based visas. Additionally, it ensures that the children of H-1B visa holders do not lose their green card eligibility once they become adults, and creates a new temporary visa category to let noncitizens visit U.S.-based family.

The bill also includes a version of the Afghan Adjustment Act, which creates a pathway to citizenship for Afghans who fled to the United States after the Taliban takeover.

It guarantees that up to 1.8 million illegal aliens can come over our border before it’s an emergency

The bill explicitly calls for the release of illegal aliens, despite being framed as ending catch and release

The Senate took three months to craft another atrocious immigration bill, one that doesn’t complete the border wall, empower Border Patrol and ICE to target and deport criminal aliens and curb the flow of illegal immigrants flooding the border.

It ingeniously keeps the portions Democrats need to make their amnesty push in the long run, especially that tidbit about kids of H-1B visa holders having essentially permanent green card status after they turn 21. It’s just another talking point to put all these people on a pathway to citizenship, which now includes the unvetted Afghan refugees we scooped up recklessly when Biden let Afghanistan gall to the Taliban.

A “border security bill” that opens with Ukraine funding is not a bill for border security bill. It’s a bill for Ukraine funding. Label accordingly.

I saw a Republican senator arguing that it is a much needed bill because as soon as the number of immigrants hit 5,000 it shuts down for at least three weeks automatically instead of the hundreds of thousands pouring in. And it will be automatic, he says, it won't depend on Biden.

The fuck you say. I pay $5000 a month or else my house gets burned to the ground so that's a good thing?

Biden needs this bill to pass so he can shut down the border? They think people are that stupid.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." There are no provisions for actual security and control of the border. This is exactly the bill that Reagon got suckered into going along with.

Ted Cruz: this…is…INSANE. On Schumer’s Open-Borders Legislation, Republicans shouldn’t just vote no… …but HELL NO.

Mike Lee: This feels like an elaborate practical joke. But it’s not funny. Not one bit.
I cannot understand how any Republican would think this was a good idea—or anything other than an unmitigated disaster.

Josh Hawley: Talk about screwing working people: this border “deal” allows illegals to get IMMEDIATE work visas. Immediate. Wages will fall like a lead balloon

Steve Scalise: Let me be clear: The Senate Border Bill will NOT receive a vote in the House.
Here’s what the people pushing this “deal” aren’t telling you: It accepts 5,000 illegal immigrants a day and gives automatic work permits to asylum recipients—a magnet for more illegal immigration.

Matt Gaetz: Betrayal of the American People

Elise Stefanik: This Joe Biden/Chuck Schumer Open Border Bill is an absolute non-starter and will further incentivize thousands of illegals to pour in across our borders daily.

Marco Rubio: The “border deal” is an easy NO. It reads like a parody of an actual border security bill.

Donald Trump Jr: Why do Senate Republicans continue to allow themselves to be led by a mentally declining pro-amnesty turtle?

REP Senator Lankford: Our immigration laws have been weak for years. This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to stop the chaos & protect our nation He is for the pile of crap

Speaker Mike Johnson: I’ve seen enough. This bill is even worse than we expected, and won’t come close to ending the border catastrophe the President has created. As the lead Democrat negotiator proclaimed: Under this legislation, “the border never closes.” If this bill reaches the House, it will be dead on arrival.

The point, as I’m sure you can deduce, is to present something to the house that keeps the Ukrainian grifters afloat while doing nothing to seal the border.

If it passes, establishment dems and rinos win. If it fails, those same people get to claim they tried to do something about it, but MAGA shut them down.

Thank god for Mike Johnson, because you can bet the ranch McCarthy would have gone along with this pile of feces.

It also continues giving billions of dollars to various NGOs who are building migrant camps in Central America, coaching illegals on what to say to gain entry into the U.S. as asylum seekers, and funding illegals with cash and phones.

So we are still funding our destruction, with money we will have to borrow.

Exactly. Thank god for Mike Johnson.
There are enough uniparty scum in the Senate to go along with the Democrats. But Mike Johnson will hold the line in the House.

A more accurate name would be a Ukraine Aid deal with some crumbs for the border and Israel thrown in for cover.

^^^ Yes, exactly.
It's a cynical ploy to attempt to take the border issue away from republicans.
But it won't work... because a lot of people have caught on to this trick.
