Yesterday's subway attack on a blameless woman who was set on fire by an illegal alien just keeps getting more disturbing.

The latest video shocks the conscience:

Look at that cop clop on by as though nothing was going on, as if passing a routine happening in New York. Or those strapping males with cell phones filming, not one making an effort to have the woman 'stop, drop, and roll,' let alone throwing their coats over her to smother the flames, which is the normal way to treat a person on fire as well as the decent thing to do. No heroes on that platform. And look at the accused perpetrator, watching her burn like a complete psychopath and then getting up to fan the flames. Not surprisingly, the woman died.

And she was a productive citizens. She was not a drunk as some media reported:

Nor was she homeless, as other media reported.

They even speculated without a drop of evidence that she was mentally ill:

Or heck, if she were on drugs, she wouldn't feel it, right?

(Even if she were any of those things, the crime would be heinous.)

But she wasn't.

She did nothing at all to either provoke or deserve this. There's no 'happens all the time' to distance what happened to her to what could have happened to any of us. One gets the feeling that those making those accusations and smears are psychologically trying to distance themselves from the horrible thing that happened to her as something that couldn't happen to them because they aren't homeless or on drugs.

But now that shield is gone -- she was as normal as anyone, and not living on some edge or margin, just a victim of Joe Biden's and Kamala Harris's blood-on-their-hands border surge that has taken the lives of so many.

Migrant Accused Of Setting Woman On Fire In NYC Subway Car Is Here Illegally, ICE Confirms

A Guatemalan migrant has been arrested for allegedly lighting a woman on fire while she was asleep in a subway car in Brooklyn.

A spokesperson for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) confirmed that the migrant suspect is Sebastian Zapeta-Calil, a 33-year-old foreign national living in the U.S. unlawfully.

“Sebastian Zapeta-Calil, 33, is an unlawfully present Guatemalan citizen who entered the United States without admission by an immigration official,” ICE spokesperson Jeff Carter said in a statement provided to the Daily Caller News Foundation.

“U.S. Border Patrol in Sonoita, Arizona, encountered Zapeta June 1, 2018, and served him with an order of expedited removal and Enforcement and Removal Operations removed Zapeta from the U.S. to Guatemala June 7, 2018.”

The victim burned to her death while the suspect allegedly sat on a bench “calmly” watching the fire consume her body.

The New York Post reports the disturbing crime was one of the most savage to take an innocent life in the city of New York.

As AP reports, Transit police apprehended the suspect after receiving a report from three high school students who had recognized the man.

They had seen images of the suspect taken from surveillance and police body cam video and widely distributed by police.

“New Yorkers came through again,” said New York City Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch, who described the case as “one of the most depraved crimes one person could possibly commit against another human being.”

After the train came to a stop, surveillance video from the subway car showed the man “calmly” walk up to the victim, who was seated motionless, possibly sleeping, and set her clothing on fire with what appeared to be a lighter.

The woman’s clothing then “became fully engulfed in a matter of seconds,” Tisch said.

Unbeknownst to the officers, the suspect had remained at the scene and was seated on a bench on the subway platform, just outside the train car, Tisch said.

Body cameras worn by the officers caught a “very clear, detailed look” at the suspect and those images were publicly disseminated.

Officials said the 33-year-old suspect came to the US in 2018 from Guatemala.

He was detained by border patrol agents in Arizona in June of that year, sources said. His legal status wasn’t immediately clear Sunday night.

He received a transit summons in May 2023, but his criminal record in New York City was largely clean otherwise, sources said. He was living at a shelter on Randall’s Island at the time of the infraction.

The police reportedly do not believe the migrant and the victim he burned to death knew each other before the disturbing killing. The woman had not yet been identified as of Sunday night.

This is on the Biden administration. Not exclusively him of course; his input to matters of the country are limited to what the nice people write on his cue cards to say and do. I truly hope that the average US citizen has had enough to the point of putting politics aside and country first. I like to think the popular vote reflects this sentiment.

I saw the headlines this morning but knew better to click on any of the titles.

This afternoon while at the gym, I was watching the various news progarms on the TV and this was the big topic.

I have worked some very vicious and sickening crimes throughout my years of LE/Medical Examiner but nothing like this.

This takes evil to a whole different level.

All I will say is that the punishment should fit the crime.

Everyone else there should be brought up on charges. Especially the cops and the assholes recording it. I would have taken off my shirt and put her out.

What the fuck is wrong with people?

Sad, the fire on her remained fairly small and could have been snuffed out.

Just a guess but... I expect there were no operational fire extinguishers due to theft vandalism.

The victim has not been identified yet. The name and photo going around Twitter right now is most likely fake.

IMO - If we had a justice system that utilized the “eye for an eye” penalty system, maybe a lot of this would stop, but that will never happen in the US.

I initially didn't watch the video in the OP and thought, before condemning the cop and bystanders, perhaps will show something more explainable.

However, it's clear in that video that many people did not take action. No one moved.
