However, it's clear in that video that many people did not take action. No one moved.

Unimaginable. What is wrong with these people?

Daniel Penny effect.

Welcome to NY.

I have always laughed my ass off every time I hear that NYPD is the best police force in the world. Not laughing this time, I will never set foot in that s___hole state or city again if I can help it. The incompetence and cowardice here makes me sick. I worked in a ship yard and knocked a welder down and smothered him with my fire jacket so I have room to talk.

First off, what the heck is going on in our world. Evil is getting worse and appears to be ok for some. That animal that set her on fire, is an evil demon for doing such a thing. Secondly, those "cops" need to be fired and any pension/savings they have to be taken away, let alone any of the higher ups need to all go as well. They were way too casual as they walked by and I can't believe there wasn't an extinguisher around anywhere.

Morals have become bankrupt in these areas and only the Good Lord can save us from ourselves.

It's not often that mankind will surprise me with the depth of his depravity. I pretty much expect the worst. I have to admit to being genuinely shocked and immediately truly saddened by what I saw.

This level of public apathy displayed in NYC reminds me of the abject moral bankruptcy portrayed in the movie Se7en.
