sig sailorYesterday Mrs DF notified me I forgot our anniversary.
I was married on December 29. I may not get the right day but since it's between Christmas and New Years, I should get the right week.

BurtonRWMrs.BurtonRW and I were married on 8/15. Her birthday is 8/16. My birthday is 8/17.
There are no excuses.
We also always go away that week for an Annibirthday Vacation.

My Dad did this. Also kept a couple pieces of jewelry in reserve, prewrapped.

Similar, but in May. Our anniversary is right in between our birthdays- not as tight a window, though.

sigarmsp226CONGRATULATIONS DF. Great story to share.
This year will be our 40th. I missed it one year about 25 years ago, and needless to say I will do my best to not ever forget it again. That was a rough two weeks.
