Although I'm long retired, I understand the trauma unemployment brings. Very happy to hear one of our members here has moved back into the ranks of the employed. Well done! Like you, I have been furloughed since mid March. I had money set aside and it looks like July i will be back to work. That was great thinking on your part and I sure hope it works out well for you! | |||

Congratulations! I got A permanent layoff due to Covid19 in April. Only the 2nd time in many years of employment. First time I found another job before I received a check. This time; no such luck. This small town rural area has been devastated. I was already commuting 30 miles each way. Lord only knows what it will be now. One local GE aircraft engines parts plant has laid everyone off. Rumors have it that due to the grounding of the plane model (737 Max?)that was sustaining crash issues, the plant will not reopen. Going to be a tough stretch but I am a firm believer that when one door closes, another door will open. Hoping and praying for the best. | |||
