I hear Moldova is nice this time of year. No, wait, that's not true.

I had a bad experience with Sixt in San Antonio four or five years ago. The vehicle I reserved was not available, their solution was a substantial step down. After much back and forth, I finally got the reservation cancellation confirmed in writing at no cost. I swore off them until this fall.

I just rented a 2024 BMW X5 for three weeks out of Miami and left it in Boston. Flawless experience for $1812 bucks. No other rental agency came close.

Never heard of them but looked them up.

Seems they have much less fees that Turo.

Do they put a $250 hold on your credit card like the big agencies do?

I recall they did. Can't remember the amount; I think it was in that vicinity.
