I'm waiting on insurance forms to get a new roof from the hail storm a few weeks back. What a pain in the butt.

The damage to cars was extraordinary. Baseball bat sized dents where the metal was well split at the bottom. Incredible. Best I ever came up with was the thinner air was allowing for increased velocity.

One of the great joys of moving out of an apartment and into a house a few years back: leaning up against my vehicle in the garage, watching the hail come pelting down, and laughing.

Off to get an estimate for the X5 this morning.

The vultures are descending on our neighborhood.
We're getting calls from out of town roofers and even a door to door one.

I am worried about your new hat , did you get the optional Hail spray repellent ?

Just like when the tornado ripped through there east of town 10 years back. The vultures were all over from what I understand.

We left Ridge West the winter of 07 and have missed it ever since.

All three of my Rodent Dogs were at the vet when the roof caved in during the Windsor tornado.

How long should I wait to wax The Great Escape?
I figured to let the paint cure first.
The build date is early May.

twice it was shelled peanut size, and yesterday it was like a kernel of corn

That happened to us with the last big hail storm, ours ended up getting replaced by insurance, in a way it's nice to not have to drop $20K on a new roof again for another 15 years....

2900 damage to the 2004 X5.
That's almost a total but not quite.
Another 1000 in damage and it would have been a total.
Never hurts to have a second car.
