Two cats can live as cheaply as one, and the owner has twice the fun.

Owner or slave? It's like a house. Do you own it or does it own you?

The boys got the snip on Saturday.
Both healing well, but the e-collar was a no-go for both of them. They got it removed on their own within 2 hours.
The dark gray one [Arlo] half shredded his, to the point I don't think it would be usable.

Luckily, they aren't aggravating the incision. We're just trying to keep their rambunctious nature at a minimum until they heal a bit more.

Also, per this thread:
https://sigforum.com/eve/forum...290083815#9290083815

We got the auto-box from the OP & it's been good so far. Took Arlo longer to acclimate to it, but now they're both using it. Uses less litter than a standard box, and no scooping. Just swap the trash bag in it about once a week [for now] and keep on rolling.

I don't think anyone sets out to own a cat, I think for the most you just end up with them. Thus:

Yep, cats adopt humans. There is no other way, and it's impossible to control. We are basically their personal slaves.

This might be too late to be of use for you but in the future consider using a surgical recovery suit for cats. We have had better luck with this than the e-collar.
Amazon, Chewy and I am sure others carry them.

The online cat database has both of them
listed as repeat offenders.

Buster pushes stuff off of counters and desk tops and Bub

can't be trusted around cupboards, after dark.
