There’s a photo of the miserable perp in the article.

“A Virginia man has been arrested for allegedly using a sledgehammer to behead an Iwo Jima statue at a US Marine Corps Base on Wednesday.

Miguel Alonso Maldonado Soriano, 27, was found by Prince William County (PWC) police 'actively damaging' the Iwo Jima statue in Quantico, Virginia.

Officers responded to a report of property destruction near Richmond Highway in front of the US Marine Corps Base Quantico around 10pm.

PWC police officials said Soriano has been charged with felony destruction of property, trespass with intent to damage property and felony injury to a monument.

'Arriving officers located a man, later identified as the accused, actively damaging the statue with a sledgehammer. Officers quickly detained the accused without incident,' the PWC wrote in a statement to the Daily Mail.

Officials said one figure on the statue had its head completely removed, another figure had gouge marks on the helmet and face, and a third figure had its bayonet knocked off from the firearm slung over its back.

'Damage to the statue, which included the removal of one of the depicted soldier’s head in addition to other damage, is estimated to be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars,' PWC police wrote in a statement. …”

Let’s beat the fuck to death in public.

Or if that’s too much, let’s charge him with malicious destruction and send him to community service.

Ok. Death it is.

Drop all charges. Then drop him off at LeJeune. November 10 is a good day to do it. During the late evening hours…..

Drive him to LeJeune?
Hell, he’s AT Quantico!
There’s more than enough Marines there that will take their time and do the job right.

These brave men are why you have freedom in this country. Don’t like it then move to a 3rd world shithole controlled by a dictator. This shit never ends.

"Virginia man?" Perhaps not.

Illegal alien with former DACA status accused in Iwo Jima statue attack

quote:
The man arrested for allegedly using a sledgehammer to behead a Marine figure on an Iwo Jima monument near Quantico, Virginia, is a Mexican illegal alien and former Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipient who lost his status this year, federal sources told Fox News.

quote:
According to federal sources, Maldonado Soriano illegally crossed into the U.S. in December 1999. He was granted DACA by the Obama administration in 2014. It was recently extended by the Biden administration in 2024. Maldonado Soriano then lost his DACA status in August 2026 because it was not renewed by the Trump administration.

This is an attack on our culture- just like in Europe. A HUGE deal needs to be made of this piece of shit defacing a monument dedicated to our hero’s. Nonstop by every candidate.

I thought all this would be fixed by changing the Land O’ Lakes butter logo, taking Aunt Jemima off of syrup bottles and removing Uncle Ben’s visage from the store shelves.
Apparently not.

I agree wholeheartedly with turning this dickhead over to the Marines themselves.
Should be over and done within minutes.
My Uncle was wounded in Iwo Jima. Fuck this twerp!!

Put him in prison hard labor since he likes swinging a sledgehammer and pay him a dollar a month until the damage is paid off.

He’s obviously still upset about the Marines storming Chapultepec Castle in 1847.

FBI is there too. LeJeune is 100 percent home turf when shit gets a little weird. Think Ving Rhames in Pulp Fiction weird.

It would be a shame if the jail he is held in suddenly had an infux of Marines arrested for drunk and disorderly conduct.
