The thread sparked the thought in my mind that likely the majority of the time the creator/designer is unknown for many memorials or "key" architectural elements. Might actually be a great "did you know" type book or series of books. There are stories and histories everywhere that are lost....

ggileI thought her name was familiar until I looked it up and discovered it wasn't familiar after all. I'm in my 70's and had no idea she designed the memorial.

ZSMICHAELYep. But I am usually good at names. Remember the controversy very well. Much better than most monuments.
