The best ones require a significant investment in time, but impart a wealth of insight. I just finished Shawn Ryan’s podcast with Pinal County Sheriff, Mark Lamb. I thought it was absolutely worth the 3:40 minutes I spent listening to their conversation. For the benefit of those outside of Arizona, Mark Lamb is running for United States Senate. His Republican opponent in the primary is Kari Lake, who the Sheriff says met with him and President Trump in Mar-a-Lago; she encouraged him to run for the Senate, then later entered the race herself. The podcast I listened to before that was also Shawn Ryan with RFK Jr. Also worth while. Otherwise, I frequently listen to Joe Rogan who I think is best of all as interviewer and conversationalist. I listen to Tucker on occasion, and less often to Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. If I don’t have much time, The President’s Daily Brief, hosted by Mike Baker, a former CIA operative, is worthwhile. I learned about Baker on a JRE podcast, where he’s a frequent guest. My poll just includes those I’m listening to; I include the choice “other.” I’d ask that you share with us what other podcast you’re listening to in the comments. Question: What podcast(s) do you listen to with some frequency? Choices: The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE) The Tucker Carlson Show The Shawn Ryan Show Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar The President’s Daily Brief w/ Mike Baker Other _______________________________________________________ despite them

This I still have a hard time with the whole concept of podcasts vs listening to something live. I much prefer listening to live conservative political talk radio than something that may have been made hours or a day prior and missing breaking news.

Other: The Darkhorse Podcast with Bret Weinstein and Heather Heying (they're evolutionary biologists who have been red-pilled) The History of England by David Crowther. 400+ entertaining and informative episodes. Ask Dr. Drew. He's been red-pilled too.

Closest I get is the P1 [formerly WTF1] channel on YouTube. More like a video-based Podcast vs audio only. The Enemy's gate is down.

This^^^ is what I've been listening to lately. Excellent and gives a lot of information the usual history books and programs don't mention. They last about an hour and a half each. A recent one that covers the potential invasion of Japan and issues over invading vs using the nukes really makes clear why we had no realistic choices. The number of deaths in the Pacific were actually higher than in Europe and the daily death rate if it had gone on were staggering. The Japanese still had a lot of troops in other Asian countries and were killing off civilians at a high rate. There was a Pacific version of the Holocaust that few seem aware of that was as bad as anything the Nazi's did, they just didn't document their actions as well and leave evidence as easy to find later. They also cover the claim that the Japanese would have surrendered anyway due to the Russians entering the war. I listen to other stuff when it catches my eye. We don't watch regular TV news shows and you can get a wider range of perspectives if you watch a variety of podcasts. Especially others you might not agree with 100% but that aren't total loons. ___________________________ Avoid buying ChiCom/CCP products whenever possible.

I've dabbled in others when there's a specific topic that I want to hear about, such as The History of Everything, The Spear, Joe Rogan, Shawn Ryan, and Things Police See. But the only podcast that I listen to religiously is Hardcore History by Dan Carlin. By far the best history podcast I've encountered, and Dan Carlin was one of the pioneers of the podcast format from back in its early infancy. The only downside is that his preparation and research for each topic is so extensive that new episodes only come out every ~4-6 months.

Making The Argument with Nick Freitas. I hate offended people. They come in two flavours - huffy and whiny - and it's hard to know which is worst. The huffy ones are self-important, narcissistic authoritarians in love with the sound of their own booming disapproval, while the whiny, sparrowlike ones are so annoying and sickly and ill-equipped for life on Earth you just want to smack them round the head until they stop crying and grow up. - Charlie Brooker

I unfortunately find that listening to podcasts is about the same as listening to audio books for me. I might be the odd man out but I prefer to flip pages in a book or read on my Kindle. The same with podcasts, I just can’t seem to focus on listening to it. Again I’m probably in the minority but I’d prefer to watch.

You do have to be careful. The bar for entry into making a podcast can be super low... A microphone and some sort of recording software is all it takes, at its most simple. As a result, the internet is flooded with podcasts that are little more than someone (or someones) rambling into a microphone. No talent or production value to speak of. But there are also super high quality and well-made podcasts out there, made by some really smart and talented people, on just about any topic that you would want to hear about.

When you work graveyards it’s hard to get live shows for your listening enjoyment. Some shifts I can listen to a whole bunch. Some shifts I barely get any of them in. Besides a couple minutes here and there. I also listen to them while working out, mowing, reloading, working/cleaning guns, and when I am off work and staying up late to keep my schedule. It was easy w/ Art Bell. But, w/ his demise and w/ George Noory taking over it has gone to shit. Podcasts I listen to a lot: Catechism and the Bible in a year w/ Fr. Mike Schmitz. Dan Bongino. What Cops See. Shots Fired Podcast. Verdict W/ Ted Cruz. WWII Podcast. Warriors: In their own words. Catch every so often: Tucker Carlson. The Best of Art Bell. The Shawn Ryan Show. Alex Jones (very rarely and just want to hear what he is going off on).

I tried listening to Dave Ramsey's show several years ago, and while I respect the foundation of his advice and think a whole lot of people would benefit from sticking to the basics like that, the show itself got really old, really quickly. Every segment was one of two types of callers: A) I'm a complete financial dumbass who's horribly in debt and/or nearing retirement with zero savings, what do I do? "Follow our 7 Baby Steps. Next caller." B) I got moderately rich by not being a complete financial dumbass, and I want to brag about it. "Congratulations! Next caller." Rinse and repeat.

The main podcasts I listen to. S2 Underground: news/intel updates. T.REX Talk: mostly tech side of 2nd amendment enthusiasts. The Arms Room: topics for armed Americans, guns, medical, pepping. The Art And War Podcast: interviews with people in the firearm and surrounding fields. The Meateater Podcast: hunting, fishing, and conservation topics. I really only listen when driving. Has completely replaced listening to music for me.
