The shit bomb takes the cake. Ugh.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

I had a indoor-outdoor cat that would catch a bird and immediately bring it into the house still alive. She caught a grackle once and it got away as soon as she brought it in. It had to be comical as I was chasing that sucker around with a big landing net as it flew all over the house, shitting everywhere. I finally caught it and tossed it out but that SOB had crapped all over the house. I didn't think one bird was capable of having that much crap inside it.

I had to run two Carolina Wrens out of my Tuff Shed yesterday before I closed it up and had one in my garage Monday. They will follow you right in an open door, the little farts.

For some reason this thread made me wonder if you had archived the thread where you were doing election recon around your house.

I'll put another vote in for wreath removal. Something like this is funny enough in hindsight, but not funny at all if it repeats.

Well told, by the way.

I would like to apologize to anyone I have *not* offended. Please be patient. I will get to you shortly.

My wife loves to put wreaths on the front door. Every so often I forget about the wrens that love to nest and sleep their at night. Every once in a while I get a wren flying into the entry way. Damn Birds. Thank goodness most times they aren't too hard to get turned around and back out the door

I was at Fleet Farm today with my wife and we heard the sound of birds tweeting. She asked if they sold pets. Don't think so. Started looking around, and sure enough, couple of birds perched way up high on a shelf. Saw another one flying around in a different part of the store. Now that's an authentic farm store!
