Being reported on multiple platforms that someone watching their wireless trail-cam saw him and called the authorities.

I say good. Fuckhead couldn't just punch his own ticket from the start, I wanna hear about why he did what he did. Makes it that much harder for dipshits later to assign rhyme and reason to his nonsense.

It appears that the guy had the funding cut from his latest grift. These leftist operators feed at the public expense until the truth comes out that they do nothing useful and the funding runs out:

In a statement, FBI Minneapolis special agent in charge Alvin Winston said Boelter's actions were a "deliberate and violent act on public servants and their families."

The Epoch Times provided additional details about the suspect:

A LinkedIn profile that appears to be associated with Boelter showed that his most recently held role was as CEO of the Red Lion Group hotel, which he said was based in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

He and his wife, Jennifer, also apparently run a security service called Praetorian Guard Security Services LLC, according to their website. His wife is listed as the chief executive of the firm.

The company website says it offers only armed guard security services, and Boelter wrote that he had been "involved with security situations in Eastern Europe, Africa, North America and the Middle East, including the West Bank, Southern Lebanon and the Gaza Strip."

It also said that he has "ground experiences combined with training by both private security firms and by people in the U.S. Military" and also "worked for the largest U.S. oil refining company, the world's largest food company based in Switzerland, and the world's largest convenience retailer based in Japan." Those claims could not be immediately verified by The Epoch Times.

The suspect has a very shady past with NGOs operating overseas.

The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Its already out of hand.

One side says he's a MAGA manic, the other says he's a leftist lunatic.

My favorite is all the stuff he was found with (e.g., "no kings" signs) is evidence of both options applying, simultaneously.

My guess is that regardless of his history, travels and affiliations, the dude is an ordinary, everyday, garden variety nut. Lots of them out there.

It's now being reported that Boelter had a real cop roll up on him when he was at a house between the two where the shootings took place. The cop called out to him, he didn't respond, so the real cop kept going thinking Boelter was doing a welfare check. Ouch! That one is going to bother him/her for a long time.

Thanks. From the article,

11:27 a.m. - Acting U.S. Attorney for Minnesota Joe Thompson said a police officer in New Hope saw Vance Boelter at another state senator’s home on Saturday night between his alleged shooting of John and Yvette Hoffman and the killing of Melissa and Mark Hortman.
Thompson said the officer pulled up on Boelter in his police-style SUV and assumed he had been dispatched to the scene to perform a wellness check. When the officer asked Boelter what he was doing, he simply stared straight ahead, Thompson said. The New Hope police officer then left Boelter to continue on with the wellness check.

So, the scum was at another senator’s home to try to kill, after shooting the first 4 victims? Maybe the presence of that real cop made him feel the heat, so he left? If true, the cop’s brief presence there saved the senator’s life.

No. The encounter occurred between the two victims that were wounded and the two that were killed.

No, it sounds like he left that address and then went to the next one on his list and shot them. So the cop's action/inaction may have saved the people at that address, but not the next.

The way I am interpreting the article, he went to one politician's home, shot and wounded them, then went to another politician's home, where he was approached by a cop. He left that home without shooting, went to a third politician's home, and shot and killed them.

That is correct. There was actually another stop in between 1 and 2 where the legislator was not at home. Hortman's house was the 4th and final stop.

Apparently the guy seemed 'normal' enough that he was able to get appointed to two governor's task forces, live in a nice house, raise a family, etc.
I just can't fathom the mindset, or the pure evil, to do something so depraved.

Walz-Linked Shooter Targeted 2 Other Homes. Here’s What We Know.

https://thenationalpulse.com/2...geted-2-other-homes/

Federal officials revealed that alleged Minnesota assassin Vance Luther Boelter, accused of shooting two Minnesota lawmakers and their spouses in their homes, visited the homes of two other state lawmakers on Saturday morning, but moved on as neither was present. Boelter allegedly shot and killed state Representative Melissa Hortman (D) and her husband, and critically wounded state Senator John Hoffman (D) and his wife Yvette.

In all four incidents, it is believed that Boelter approached the homes disguised as a police officer and claimed to be investigating some sort of crime when someone answered the door. The first home visited by Boelter was that of state Senator Hoffman, with both the lawmaker and his wife being critically wounded by the assassin. Next, Boelter drove to the home of another, unnamed, lawmaker, but discovered it empty.

However, in the second of the failed shooting attempts, an actual local law enforcement official now believes they encountered Boelter sitting outside the lawmaker’s residence in an SUV. The officer says they approached the vehicle and a man in a police uniform sitting inside, and assumed the individual was dispatched to provide a protective detail. However, when the officer tried to verbally address the individual, the man in the SUV continued staring straight ahead.

After the initial encounter, the law enforcement officer says they proceeded to check on the home, knocking on the front door and receiving no response. Upon confirming that the house was unoccupied, the officer realized the SUV and the man—now believed to be Boelter—had departed.

Subsequently, police would again encounter Boelter at the final home, belonging to Rep. Hortman. When police arrived, Boelter was standing at the front door of the lawmaker’s residence. Before law enforcement could respond, Boelter forced his way into the home and began opening fire, killing Hortman and her husband.
Boelter had previously been appointed to serve on a state workforce commission by Governor Tim Walz (D-MN) and by his predecessor, Gov. Mark Dayton (D-MN). On Monday, Acting U.S. Attorney Joseph H. Thompson plainly stated: “This was a political assassination.”
