Threads tend to get cluttered with posts that are not relevant to the original topic. If the OP got annoyed with that, as I often do, I can understand his going off to more productive pursuits. I was guilty of posting distractions this time and I apologize for that. Thanks for the input, guys. I am younger than the OP, but one of my work buddies pulled the pin at 61 in May, and it's got me thinking. The problem is that, unlike the military, I feel that my current job as a public school teacher is actually making a difference. It will be hard to leave. Which kids do I look at and say, "Cheers. I refuse to help you any more." | |||
