You said "Distractions".
Much of what you said is relevant to the topic. Those are the questions or stories that come up around retirement.

I'm retiring in two years at 60 years old. Could do it now but want to save for another couple of years before I pull the trigger. Can't wait.

Thanks for the input, guys. I am younger than the OP, but one of my work buddies pulled the pin at 61 in May, and it's got me thinking. The problem is that, unlike the military, I feel that my current job as a public school teacher is actually making a difference. It will be hard to leave. Which kids do I look at and say, "Cheers. I refuse to help you any more."
