Good Lord, what a harrowing experience. Eek

Yeah, you’re better off getting it fixed ASAP. I’m thankful I didn’t have a blowout like that, and I feel like I came close a few times before I got meshed. Wear the truss, and be careful until you can get fixed up.

There’s been no pain or discomfort until this incident. I also didn’t have insurance until a couple of months ago. I’m getting things moving today in between jobs.

Sent a prayer for rapid and healthy recovery. Had both sides repaired over the years and now coming up on 70yrs I'm glad that I had them done, and the repairs have been solid for the last 40yrs.

Hope it goes well. Even with insurance, I'm still paying off the 4K plus costs my insurance didn't cover for mine last March. It was 4 to 6 weeks before mine was healed up enough to get back to working with lifting restrictions. I'm good to go now, but can still feel weird things every so often. Prayers for you.

The insurance requires that I see my PCP for a referral. He’s on vacation until Monday. I’ll see him then.
