No love for Rob Roy Manhattans here? I use blends for those.

My single malts I usually serve over a single large cube. I give it a minute to chill the Scotch, and add just a bit of melt.

There is no "wrong" way to drink Scotch... some will say there is, but if you've bought it, you get to enjoy it the way you want.

My preferred Scotch?
Single - The Balvenie Caribbean Cask, Glenlivet 18
Blends - Johnny Walker Green, Monkey Shoulder, Pinch

I shall respect you until you open your mouth, from that point on, you must earn it yourself.

I enjoy both Manhattan and Old Fashioned cocktails using blends, bourbons, or rye.

Scotch for me is best with just a splash of water and an ice cube. I do live in hot and humid Florida though.

I colder weather I'll have my scotch neat. Water on the side.

I'll have a Jameson with a side of Guinness when the mood strikes.

With a few drops of water. No ice. Sip slowly and savor the dram.

Start with room temperature, neat. Let it open up. I never drink from a Glencairne, I have a few but I dod not prefer them - double old fashioned.

IF I am drinking after a days work, I typically add a single large ice cube.

Same as many others. Decent single malts usually neat. Like Glenmorangie sherry cask Lasanta or up the scale. If it's a smoker or peat bog, with a splash.

Monkey shoulder is my favorite for mixing because I also enjoy it with a small bit of ice or even slightly chilled and neat.

Room temp. I'll do it neat, with scotch rocks, or a large whiskey cube depending on the Scotch.

Neat. Preferably in a glass that tapers upward to get a good whiff at the goodness I've just poured.

My ice cube maker makes smallish cubes. With that said probably 2-4 cubes with the Scotch. Just has some single malt Glendronach that way last week.

I'm not a big Scotch drinker, but one of the few that I do like. I like it neat, room temperature or I put the bottle in the freezer and drink it near chilled.

There are only a couple of Scotches that I like. One being Monkey Shoulder. I guess that's because I'm a huge Bourbon fan. And Monkey Shoulder is as close to Bourbon as I could find with it's sweetness, in Scotch.

But, I guess back to the answer. Neat at room temperature or chilled.

Never was a fan of scotch. I think it had something to do with watching the movie, Mister Roberts.

In a glass, maybe with a splash of cool water. I find a glencairn glass is nice for the occasion.

With some friends, too, makes it even better.
