https://www.kgun9.com/news/nat...l-senate-sources-say

just die already you miserable piece of shit...

Sources in the Senate tell CNN they have been worried about Sen. John McCain recently, following a week when the Arizona Republican was kept from the Senate to address side effects from his brain cancer treatment.

The sources described McCain as looking increasingly frail and said he has not spoken up in recent GOP meetings the way he had before, in addition to his absence this week for treatment at Walter Reed Medical Center.

One source said that McCain always used to speak up in these meetings, and that he hasn't at all recently. The source was not commenting on McCain's mental acuity, but on his energy level, and pointing out that his lack of participation was not normal.

Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, McCain's closest friend in the Senate, said he spoke with Cindy McCain on Wednesday about her husband's health.

"He is receiving treatment for the side effects of therapy," Graham said. "I feel pretty good about the way the treatment is affecting his underlying cancer. But the treatment has a downside. So he is trying to rest up. I am very confident that he will come back and continue to participate for a long time to come."

Graham said he did not talk to McCain's wife Cindy McCain about the potential for the senator to return next week for a tax vote; he only got an update on his health. He said he hopes to talk to McCain Thursday or see him in person soon.

While I don't agree with his current political activity I have to acknowledge his HUGE contribution, personal sacrifice, and service to our country in the past.
He deserves recognition and respect for this.

I may not agree with some of the things he did, etc. However seeing the affects of what some cancer treatments did to my mother, even to my enemy I would not want them to go through what my mother did and instead offer them compassion. God Bless and Merry Christmas !!!

I am grateful for his military service.

It's past time for him to withdraw from public life.

I sometimes wonder if it was while he was in that Communist prison camp that he became indoctrinated to think like a Communist.

That was 50 years ago. He has done nothing, IMO, in this recent half century for me to show ANY respect towards him. The bad he has inflicted upon this nation FAR outweighs any good he may have done (again, of course, IMO). He is a die-hard RINO Never-Trumper and as such, a traitor to conservatives everywhere.

I don't wish him any ill will, but I want him gone from the Senate.

he squandered whatever good he did for the country when he became a backstabbing piece of shit that has done more to damage the long term health of the country and do everything he can to fuck over the people that voted for Trump

he's a worthless old tool

there were thousands of vets from Viet Nam that did their time, came home and became highly productive American citizens in spite of their ordeal

McCain was not one of them

Time for him to step down now and let a replacement senator be chosen who can be a full time senator who isn't driven by a hatred of President Trump and fuck the country attitude because of it. I remember how he is so out of touch with reality he was recorded as saying "American's won't pick lettuce for $50 an hour".

https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2008/8/22/572803/-

I had forgotten until someone else mentioned it that he was one of the "Keating Five". Amazing he was still a senator after that.

In his condition, do we think we can count on him to deliver? Not so long ago, his "No" put the whole thing in a tailspin, and I wouldn't be shocked if he did the same again.

I appreciate John McCain's service to this country and I have unbiased respect for his enduring captivity and grateful he survived and was welcomed as a hero for his and all his fellow compatriots, those who survived and those who did not.

But, he has full well made a deliberate effort since that time to undermine and betray the "party" and those who supported him, in hes actions and purposed intentions to betray the people who entrusted him with his representation of their interests and desires.

For that, as it occurred after his service to his country as a military man, and under the service as a politician, being self serving, I have no trouble praying Psalm 109:8.

Me too.
I voted against him in the primary but there's no way I would vote for the democrap in the 'real' electon for the seat. I don't have access to enough anti-emetics for that.

Now that he and the Phucking Phlake are on their way out, I REALLY hope AZ can get it's poop in a group.
Any conservative that can get elected would do just fine.
