Have you guys ever used "Wipe-Out" bore cleaner ?
https://sharpshootr.com/wipe-out/

I used to try all sorts of bore cleaners when I used to shoot heavily all sorts of things, but I never used this.

Funny these days I've gone back to the good old standard, Hoppes 9, since I no longer shoot things that deposit copper in the bore. Interesting how you return to your roots in certain aspects of life.

So is or was this a miracle foamer type product, or just not better than all the others ?

I use it, some people claim it will ruin barrels if left it too long (overnight), mixed with other cleaners or not cleaned out of the barrel. I have never had an issue and I use it with heavily fouled barrels.

I have tried so many cleaners I could not even name them all. Unless I am dealing with heavy copper or lead fouling I use MPro 7 or 50/50 mix of Hoppes and Kroil.

BTW, it does work. Is it better than all the rest? Maybe better than most I have used but I cannot say it is the best out of everything I use.

Thanks. Exactly right, I didn't mean the best for everything, just general bore cleaning. I don't shoot much stuff that creates copper fouling these days.

I use it. Wipeout with their Accelerator, especially for barrel break in. (Much faster)
Also Midway usually has both in stock.

For general upkeep I use Boretech but for a deep clean Wipe-Out and the Accelerator is great.

I've used it for years. Usually run a soaked patch on a Dewey or Parker Hale cleaning jag, followed by another soaked patch, and let it sit overnight if the barrel is somewhat heavily fouled and finish up with a dry patch and CLP. No nasty chemical smells or harm to stick finishes. I've confirmed with a bore scope that there's no harm to barrels when left in the bore for a day or two.
