Ugh. I'm gonna be busy. I'll prime and shoot them but they can do all the cutting and buffing.

I want to toss sparkles in my clear for the corvette...

I had a silver anniversary with 3.73 gears. It turned a lot of rpm's on the highway and still wasn't fast. Unfortunately, the government did that. Still a nice car. One of my favorites is a 1980-1981 due to the flared front/rear bumpers and interior seats.......

Mine has the 3.73 also.
I want the 2.77 gears for it.
I don't care about fast.

He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster.

Don't forget 82 in that group, and talk about no power, my 82 had the famous GM Cross Fire injection, which wasn't very good, used in the 82 and 84.

The L83 had a whopping 200 HP/285TQ, but the 82 got a 4 speed vs the previous 3 speed auto, there were no manuals in 82...

Still, it had the looks.

Today you'd get one without an engine and LS swap it with a 6 speed..

Neat concept. My only concern would be could you get adequate lighting in it.

For the sparkles, I think https://rothmetalflake.com/ . I used their stuff before, a candy purplish on a strat rebuild. They packaged it all for spray cans for that, small job. Customer support was great for a candy novice like me. Can add flake, no flake, pearl to the clear, etc.

I’ve only painted one car. Student project car, 1am, in an alley behind an engineering building, with an air line that I had to drain, under a security light. I had zero hopes, but it was the only time we had.

Other than some orange peel, it came out pretty decent.
