Woke up around 12 am, the bleeding had stopped.
left it alone all night now I am cleaning up the area and gonna glue it closed. Should be good to go from here. Thanks folks!
That was what I suggested and I thought I posted but some how it disappeared...

sjtillThe bleeding stopped, but you've essentially covered it over so a dermatologist can't easily see what was going on.
I went to Derm years ago for a little area on my face that continued to bleed after shaving. Yep, basal cell carcinoma, easily removed, never recurred.

FredwardFirst thing I do when I'm bleeding or injured is go up on the internet. I'm a MAN, dammit, I don't need no doctors-but that all changed at about 40. Don't have it checked though, you don't really need an ear. And the cosmetic guys make lovely clip on ears (no joke, they do. They implant clips in the skull to hold them on, you take them off at night.) I've seen LOTS of skin cancer patients. You really don't want to be one, at least not an advanced one.
