ScreamingCockatooOllie Ruined My MacBook!
Which model is it?
A 15" screen used logic board can be had for $80.
My iMac got popped by a power surge and I repaired it myself for about $90.

One thing I like about using a "desktop" Mac, is that the keyboard, mouse, or monitor is easily replaceable, without messing with the main CPU.

Mine's a 2009 MacBook Pro 13". I took the back off and all' dry. It's under the keyboard that's where the water went. I'm not sure how to get under the keyboard.
