Which model is it? A 15" screen used logic board can be had for $80. My iMac got popped by a power surge and I repaired it myself for about $90.  He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster. | |||

One thing I like about using a "desktop" Mac, is that the keyboard, mouse, or monitor is easily replaceable, without messing with the main CPU. | |||

Mine's a 2009 MacBook Pro 13". I took the back off and all' dry. It's under the keyboard that's where the water went. I'm not sure how to get under the keyboard. No car is as much fun to drive, as any motorcycle is to ride. | |||
