It is being professionally installed.

Seat as in places to sit. Without a center channel, you’d be pretty much limited to one place sit and have the stereo image centered with the TV. It’s a problem I’m going to have in our new house. My wife ok’d the speakers in the corners, but I’m not allowed to put anything on the electric fireplace thing. That’s slick having the speaker in the console.

Got it. We have 2 recliners that line up with the TV.

No matter where you sit it rocks.

I sit further back by a few feet from my cousin. We worked together at the family business and lived together.

He likes to sit closer and I like to be further away. Since we are not KISSING COUSINS I like my space…We are both bachelor’s and we decided that if we bought a house together instead of both having condos we could have a nicer living situation in a house. Get to split the mortgage, property taxes and bills. That made it doable out here in California.

House is paid off and we are retired!

Curious - is the new TV LED, mini LED or OLED? Something else? Deliberate choice or indifferent?

I just bought a 77” Sony Bravia 9 LED tv to replace my aging 65” Samsung and could not be happier!

PR64, apologies for the unusual double post. Seems internet is to blame. Awful and amazing lag. I know that sometimes, when i play, a screen chat message take so long to appear on screen that i’ve already forgot there was a message at all.

Wrongly assumed that what i now understand to be a double front facing cone sub was one of two front speakers. I got 4 speakers (2 stereo, two front) but the front are a Yamaha thing that gets ignored 99% of the time by all audio sources but Yamaha special effects.

Thanks. That's where I was leaning - better than LED and a little averse to OLED. But not an expert. I assume one AV obsessed would know which to buy.
