I guess I am way too old school. LOL. I have always loved the unbalanced sound of an American V8. I'm sure the Euro sound appeals to some but I grew up with muscle cars in the 50's - 80's and that sound is what I prefer. Of course that also means a performance car has a hood longer than a rear deck, so there ya go, brand me old. My general understanding is also that the Coyote engine has been somewhat less than considered reliable in the Mustangs. More vibration (the massive counterweights on a cross-plane smooth that out, but also slow it down) would be my guess. And it would be a waste to buy such a car and not test its limits at least once in awhile. Like shooting maximum loads in a firearm, the harder you use any piece of machinery, the sooner you'll break it. | |||
