21107 .50 CALIBER BROWNING MACHINE GUN BARREL- AN-M2 AIRCRAFT- DEMIL - The AN-M2 Aircraft model .50 BMG used a lighter weight 36 inch barrel which provided as slightly higher rate of fire than the 45 inch barrel M2 Heavy Barrel ground and vehicle mounted gun. This barrel is from an aircraft gun and came from retired USAF officer who flew P-51 Mustangs and other fighters up the F-105 in Vietnam. This is demilitarized with a torch cut completely through the barrel, plus another cut into the chamber thread area as shown in the photos. Ratty bore. I think this is from a single barrel as the cuts seem to match up fairly well. Great for building a dummy gun for a restoration project, or if you need a tent peg, of flotation device for your neighbor’s cat swimming lessons or something. What you see is what you get. $35.00
